Arc Barrel Description:
Arc Barrel teaches the fundamentals of Upside-Down Pilates and introduces exercises using the arc barrel. We will explore the use of breath, spinal articulation, pelvic and shoulder stability and mobility, head and cervical spine alignment, as well as focus and control through arc barrel based exercises. 


Class Level Descriptions:

Level I: Arc Barrel I teaches the fundamentals of Upside-Down Pilates. This class explores the use of breath, spinal articulation, pelvic and shoulder stability and mobility, head and cervical spine alignment, as well as focus and control through Arc Barrel based exercises. 

Level II: Arc Barrel II reviews the fundamentals of Upside-Down Pilates and focuses on shoulder mobility and stability as well as ankle, hip, and knee alignment, while increasing strength and flexibility throughout the body during Arc Barrel based exercises

Level III: Arc Barrel III challenges strength and flexibility along with introducing coordination through Arc Barrel based exercises.  Must be attending class 2-3 days per week to participate.

Upside-Down Pilates Teachers have all learned Level IV, V & VI Arc Barrel exercises. We do not have Group Lessons for these levels but will use them in Solo Lessons at their own discretion.
